Mark and Jane with their two daughters Jessica and Jamie purchased their 7 acre farmette in Serena, IL in 1990. With Marke enjoying gardening as a hobby and Jayne spending much time baking, they started doing Ottawas Farmers Market in 1994. They now have 2 1/2 acres of seasonal produce and Jaynes pies have become a favoriet to her customers. They also raise their own beef, chickend and egges, and throughtout the years have won many prize winnings including "grand Champions". Their daughters and now their husbands even help on the farm and the grandchildren plan on helping too! |
